Railway News: IRCTC To Release Full-Year Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train Schedule By August 15; New AC Coaches To Be Added | Details

Railway News: In a bid to improve the convenience of passengers, the Chief Regional Manager of Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced the release of the complete schedule of all Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train running in a financial year by August 15. According to the plan, the Bharat Gaurav Trains will run as per schedule, and the schedule will be released for a year at once.

This will allow devotees to plan their trips conveniently. In addition to this, new AC coaches will be added to the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train to meet the rising demand for trains.

Ajith Kumar Sinha, Chief Regional Manager, IRCTC, said, “There is a plan to run Bharat Gaurav trains as per schedule. The schedule is being prepared. The schedule of all Bharat Gaurav trains running in a financial year will be released at once. Devotees will get relief.”

Bharat Gaurav Train Schedule To Be Launched Soon: Check Details

In a major update, the Railway Ministry is planning to release the complete schedule, including the date, timings, route and stoppages of all Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train running in a financial year in one go by August 15, Jagran.com reported. Devotees from Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and other states going to South for Jyotirlinga Yatra will be able to plan their journey conveniently as the schedule will be released earlier.

The devotees will get the facility to pay via EMIs for Bharat Gaurav train journeys. In addition to this, a plan is also being prepared to run Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train from major stations, including Gorakhpur, Lucknow, and Agra, every month. Earlier, on June 30, a fully-packed Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train departed from Gorakhpur to seven Jyotirlingas and Dwarkadhish. Several passengers did not get confirmed tickets due to the long waiting list.

To meet the rising demand, the IRCTC has decided to add three AC 3-Tier coaches to the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train. Now, Bharat Gaurav trains will be equipped with four AC-3 and one AC-2 coaches. A total of 14 coaches, including Pantry Car, will be present in Bharat Gaurav trains.

The IRCTC, in collaboration with the Railway Ministry, operates the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train for the convenience of devotees and to promote religious and cultural tourism.
