Indofast Energy partners with Green Tiger Mobility to retrofit petrol scooters to EV
Indofast Energy and Green Tiger Mobility on Friday announced their partnership to accelerate India’s transition to electric mobility.
The partnership aims to tackle India’s more than 300 million petrol two-wheelers by offering an affordable, seamless, and eco-friendly retrofit solution, the company said.
This allows riders to transition from petrol to electric by retrofitting their existing two-wheelers with Green Tiger Mobility’s ARAI-approved conversion solutions. Post this, riders can accessIndofast Energy’s extensive battery-swapping network, eliminating concerns about range anxiety and long charging times, it added.
“Our retrofit solution, powered by Indofast’s swappablebatteriesbridges the gap between sustainability and practicality-giving people an easy way to embrace electric without replacing their trusted rides,” said Ashish Dokania, Founder, Green Tiger Mobility.

Currently available in Bangalore, the companies plan to launch it in Delhi NCR by May. Additionally, it will be made available to the rest of the country in the next 12 to 15 months, the companies said.Beginning with the quick commerce delivery executives, it will then be extended to the mass market, making EV conversion accessible to all, it added.
