Earthquake Of 5.3 Magnitude Jolts Telangana’s Mulugu, Tremors Felt In Hyderabad

An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale hit Telangana’s Mulugu region on Wednesday morning. Tremors were felt in the state’s capital Hyderabad and other adjoining areas.

According to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), a tremor was recorded at approximately 7:27 am on Wednesday, with its epicenter located near the Mulugu region at a depth of 40 km.

The NCS posted on X: “EQ of M: 5.3, On: 04/12/2024 07:27:02 IST, Lat: 18.44 N, Long: 80.24 E, Depth: 40 km, Location: Mulugu, Telangana.”There have been no immediate reports of casualties or significant damage, and further details are awaited.Earthquake
