Shocking Hit-and-Run in Hyderabad: Man Dragged 2 KM on Car Bonnet After Son Hit

A horrifying case of road rage has emerged from Hyderabad, leaving people stunned. The incident took place in the Meerpet police station area of Ranga Reddy district, where a car driver not only hit a two-wheeler but also dragged a man for nearly 2 kilometers on the bonnet.

According to reports, the car rammed into a two-wheeler from behind, on which SK Jilani and his son Faisal were riding. Faisal sustained injuries in the collision, following which a heated argument broke out between the father-son duo and the car driver.

In an attempt to stop the vehicle and question the driver, Jilani stood in front of the car. However, the driver tried to flee recklessly, causing Jilani to fall onto the bonnet. In a shocking turn of events, the driver continued driving with Jilani clinging to the bonnet for nearly 2 kilometers.

The car reportedly sped from Balapur Crossroads towards Mandamallamma Crossroads, with bystanders watching in disbelief as the घटना unfolded. Eventually, alert locals and passersby intervened, forcing the driver to stop the vehicle.

Driver Absconds, Police Launch Manhunt

Taking advantage of the chaos, the accused driver fled the scene, leaving the victim behind. Faisal, who was injured in the initial collision and subsequent scuffle, was admitted to a private hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment.

Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident. Efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the absconding driver. Authorities are examining CCTV footage and collecting eyewitness statements to piece together the sequence of events and ensure strict action against the accused.
